Summer Wedding Colors
Today’s bride has an amazing number of choices when determining her summer wedding colors. Gone are the days when you were expected to choose pastel pink, green, yellow or blue. Classic chic, totally trend-worthy, or all-you unique; whatever you choose, make a color statement that shouts or subtly whispers you.
Your wedding color scheme is one of the most important pieces of planning your wedding. Your wedding color theme will help set the mood for the entire day. How do you want your day to feel? Are you looking for laid-back casual, energetically festive, or sedately elegant? Your color choices will help you achieve it. Cool, muted colors set a serene mood, whereas bold combos of brights make for a festive feel, and warm monochromatic shades lend a more mellow vibe.
Brights are in for summer wedding colors. Contrasting combos are all the rage. Choose one or two brights with a buffer like white, cream or silver peony. For a Lighter, airier feeling, go heavier on the light buffer color with splashes of brights thrown in.
Bright brights not your cup of tea? Not to worry—you can go classic or trendy with amazing muted shades for summer wedding colors this year. Moss green and cream or silver cloud and silver peony make cool, classic combos. For a bit more modern edge, while keeping it muted, try ice blue with splashes of russet brown, deep cranberry or navy.
Back to nature weddings go this year. Whether on the local beach or next to a waterfall in Belize, in your backyard, or overlooking a majestic vista, nature is in. Embracing your natural surroundings in your wedding color theme is key. Pull in those greens, browns, and natural florals when creating your perfect outdoor ceremony and reception space.
Outdoor wedding? An updated version of the classic lemon-lime theme is to pair peapod green with beeswax yellow. For an extra flair add in silver peony.

Shipboard wedding? Regatta blue and White with splashes of honeysuckle or beeswax make a smart, seaworthy wedding color scheme.
Wedding under the oaks? Embrace the natural beauty of your setting with touches of Russet brown, Peapod green and Silver Peony.
